📚 8 Super-Easy Code & Calculate Projects (join any week)
Each day = one finished, kid-friendly game. Younger kids follow the baseline; older kids add a small “plus” challenge.

  • Day 1 — Target Ten (Number Bonds)
Click coins to reach exactly 10. If you pass 10, reset and try again.
Plus: Switch the target to 20.

  • Day 2 — Skip-Count Catch (2s/5s/10s)
Catch only the correct multiples (2s, 5s, or 10s) to score; ignore the rest.
    Plus: Change the multiple mid-game (from 2s → 5s).

  • Day 3 — Number Line Jump (0–100)
Use arrows for +1/−1 and keys T/Y for +10/−10 to land on the target number.
Plus: Two targets in a row without missing.

  • Day 4 — Compare Duel (>, <, =)
Two numbers appear; choose greater / less / equal. Earn 10 correct to win.
Plus: Add up to 3-digit numbers (no regrouping).

  • Day 5 — Even-Odd Catcher
Catch even numbers only (or odd, your choice). Say “even!” or “odd!” when touched.
Plus: Swap rule mid-round (odd → even).

  • Day 6 — Tens & Ones Builder (Place Value)
Press T to add a “ten” and O to add a “one” to match the target (e.g., 34).
Plus: Show live total tens*10 + ones.

  • Day 7 — Coordinate Treasure (Quadrant I only)
Move to the (x, y) spot to collect the treasure (grid 0–10).
    Plus: 3 treasures in sequence.

  • Day 8 — Mini Quiz & Showcase
6 quick questions pulled from the week’s skills, add a tiny polish (sound, start/retry), then present.

Design rules: ≤2 sprites baseline, ~6–10 core blocks, 1 variable (score), no clones/broadcasts/timers unless used as a simple plus challenge.

What Kids Learn (Gently)

  • Math: make 10/20, skip counting (2s/5s/10s), compare (>, <, =), even/odd, tens & ones, coordinates (Quadrant I)

  • Coding: events, simple loops, if/else, one variable (score), sensing, basic x/y movement

  • Habits: setting a goal, following rules, tiny iterations, confident sharing

🧰 Requirements

  • Laptop/desktop (mouse recommended) + stable internet

  • Scratch account (scratch.mit.edu)

  • Google account for Classroom & Meet

No prior coding experience required—perfect for beginners and creative tinkerers.
